I’ll admit that I had been hesitant to purchase a love doll for a variety of reasons. Now that “Tim” has arrived, I can say with no hesitation that I am very glad that I did.
The doll is quite sturdy and I have no hesitation about putting my weight onto him. The actual shape and design is quite alluring and lifelike without veering into the ‘uncanny valley’. The size is just right (both in the overall size of the doll and the overall size of the…) and he fits quite nicely on my bed. Arms, legs, and waist are all articulated so Tim can be put into a lot of poses though not EVERY angle MY arm can move will Tim be able to match – still, the doll will hold those poses and positions after being posed.
The muscles are quite firm (maybe a tad too firm) and the skin of the doll doesn’t quite slide over surfaces like it should (it is very tough sliding the doll upon the sheets). Also, the doll is HEAVY and I say that only as a caution to people who may struggle to lift him up the stairs by yourself… as I learned…
Overall, I am THRILLED with this purchase. So much so that perhaps I should consider getting myself a girlfriend to keep Tim company when I’m at work… 🙂
